Stara Novalja - something for everyone!

Stara Novalja is situated in a deep bay in the north-west of the island of Pag, protected from the winds bora and the sirocco, it entices with its mild micro-climate and a rich gastronomy based on fresh fish, lamb, Pag cheese and wine.

Stara Novalja is the ideal place for families, but also for all those looking for an active vacation and summer fun. It is famous for the remains of the Roman aqueduct, the olive groves, the rich underwater world and diving clubs. The proximity of Novalja and Zrće perfectly complements the diversity of what you will find in Stara Novalja.

The largest beach is the famous sandy beach Trinćel, while the small beaches extend through the entire bay. Trinćel carries a Blue Flag and many tourists come because of its cleanliness, beauty and facilities for sports and children.

The climate is mild, Mediterranean, and the bathing season runs from May to October. The accommodation can be found in apartments and private rooms and almost all the houses are right next to the sea - practically you can jump directly into the sea from the balcony.
